Offer Your Body
Have you thought about some of the creative ways you can worship God? As Christians, we've grown up worshiping God through prayer, praise music, and going to church. But here's a new way to worship God that might surprise you--with your body.
"Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship." Romans 12:1 (NIV)
Paul encourages us to offer our bodies as living sacrifices. We should keep our bodies in good health, because it is pleasing to God. And why? Because of God's mercy for us. It's a way to honor and give Him glory. According to Paul, it's a spiritual act of worship.
