Without Him

We're getting close to the end of January, and it makes me wonder about everyone's New Year's resolutions. What goals did you set for 2007? Have you asked Jesus to help you meet your goals?

If your goals are for His glory, then He will help you. If they're not for His glory, then are they even worthwhile?

Remember, if we set goals to get closer to Jesus, to more closely reflect His ideal for our lives, to overcome any sin or temptation, we can't do it alone. If you set a goal to achieve your very best possible condition of health and if you're working on this goal to give glory to God, don't attempt to do it alone. Take Jesus with you on the journey toward good health. Without Him, you're likely to fail.

Jesus Himself said,
"I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing." (John 15:5, KJV)

Remember, without Him, we are destined to fail, but with Him, all things are possible.
